Step 1: Verify Theme Compatibility (Shopify 2.0)

The application requires a Shopify 2.0–compatible theme to function correctly.

How to Verify

  1. Go to your Shopify Admin.

  2. Locate your current theme.

  3. Click Customize to open the Theme Editor.

Verification Logic

In the Theme Editor sidebar:

  • If you can see distinct sections and have the option to Add section directly within the theme structure,
then the theme is compatible (Shopify 2.0).

  • If you cannot add sections directly,
then the theme may not support the required features.

Step 2: Enable the App Embed

Enabling the App Embed is the critical bridge between the application and your live storefront.

Where to Find It

  • Inside the Theme Editor (the same screen opened by clicking Customize).

How to Enable

  1. Click the App Embed icon (usually located on the far-left sidebar).

  2. Locate the Easy Bundle app embed in the list.

  3. Toggle the switch to ON.

  4. Click Save in the top-right corner.

Backend Logic & Implications

Visibility Logic

  • If the Easy Bundle app embed is enabled and saved,
then bundles created in the app can render on the storefront.

  • If the Easy Bundle app embed is disabled (OFF),
then bundles will not be visible to customers—even if they are marked as Active inside the app.

Important Constraints

  • Saving Changes
You must click Save after enabling the App Embed. Toggling the switch without saving will cause the setting to revert.

  • Theme Dependency
App Embed settings are theme-specific. If you change or publish a new theme, you must repeat the App Embed activation steps for that theme.
